| My oldest daughter and I spend a couple weeks driving around Germany and The Netherlands this past summer. We visited long lost friends and made new ones, returned to familiar places, relearned to drive a standard transmission in a foreign land, perfected our map skills, mastered public transportation, visited famous historic places, trekked up mountains in the cold rain, tried new foods, never figured out how to navigate the roundabout, blared our newly bought Tatu Cd over and over again as we speed down the Autobahn, overdosed on European orange Fanta, and just tried to figure out normal and everyday tasks like pumping gas and flushing the toilet... aaaand took over 1700 photos. |
