I had the most amazing opportunity last week! I was able to attend WPPI in Las Vegas for 5 days, which is THE conference and trade show for wedding and portrait photographers. Not only did I learn quite a lot from the classes I attended and found some fabulous new products and vendors, but best of all I got to room and spend time with two incredible photographer friends. Together we met other wonderful photographers from all over the States and a few from overseas. We walked miles and miles everyday, had an average of four hours of sleep every night, walked twelve flights of stairs way too often when our hotel elevator was not working, went to bed when the sun was coming up, danced until our feet bled, lost an entire dollar in the 5 cent slot machine, crashed a party, had our self esteem crushed at a "guess your age" carnival game, and fell in love with the horrible sound of Lady Gaga. Might I say, it was a blast!

You should have told me you were in Vegas. We're about two hours up the freeway.

I'm going to be honest here... just for you, no. The idea of getting out of Utah for a few hours to hit up the casinos is always appealing. I've made the trip to see friends that either live in or visit Vegas. Too bad we missed you.

Awww the sarcasm! I did put a dollar in the slots just for entertainment value. After losing it after 20 seconds it confirmed what I already knew.... Then for the next day I kept thinking of what I could have bought with my precious lost dollar. Sure would have been nice to see you and finally meet Jessica and sweet Emmy!
